I am a big fan of Zevia Zero Calorie Soda and have been for a while now. I love that it is all natural and made with stevia. They also have a wonderful variety of flavors (I love their cherry cola). I thought Zevia might be something my mom would like, so I asked her to review some of their flavors. They sent her an assorted variety of flavors. Here is her review:
I am a diabetic and always looking for a ways to satisfy my sweet tooth without messing up my sugars. So when I was asked to try Zevia and review it, I was eager to do so. I tried 6 of the 15 flavors and for the most part, it was everything I hoped it would be.
Zevia is sweetened with stevia. This is what the Zevia website says about this sweetener:
"This all natural sweetener is commonly used in powder or liquid form to heighten sweetening intensity and improve taste. In its highly purified form, it has sweetness between 250 to 350 times that of an equal weight of sugar but with no calories and no effect on blood glucose levels!"
I first tried the pop (sorry soda lovers, I am from Western NY we call it pop) at room temperature. All flavors had an aftertaste - not as much as most other diet sodas do, but it was there. However when I poured the soda over ice and drank it cold there was no aftertaste.. none at all. My favorite flavor was Lime Cola. A nice taste of lime but I wouldn't have complained if it were a little more "limey". Then there was Gingerale, ginger Root beer, Cherry Cola (yum) Dr Stevia and Cream Soda.They were all good except Cream Soda, but in defense of Zevia, I do not like Cream Soda, never have never will. I will definitely buy this product. It does cost a little more than other diet pop, but for something that is a healthy alternative to other artificial sweeteners, zero net carbs and satisfies my craving for sweets - it is worth every cent. Thanks Zevia for a great product.

• When sampling Zevia keep it cold! They always say cool is not cold enough! It is recommended that you drink it out of the can. It gets warm and flat in a cup!

They have a neat list of flavors. I don't like cream soda either but the diet cola sounds good!
As a Canadian, we call it pop too :p BUT I don't know anyone who drinks it at room temp, lol! Glad it tasted better for you when you drank it with ice! :)

oo I'm excited to see they have a cherry cola now - I usually drink their diet cola, lemon lime, or mountain zevia.
But if I won this, I'd try either cherry cola or grapefruit citrus
